Gustav Wasa Restaurant

Gustav Wasa is a basement restaurant in the centre of Vasa. A  hundred-year old coal cellar has been converted into a softly-lit restaurant with a quiet, relaxing atmosphere.

Our speciality is the GW7 Tasting menu. It is a seven course dinner that tickles you taste buds and offers you an unforgettable tasting experience. Our philosophy emphasises clean, fresh and preferably locally produced ingredients. The menu changes continuously, as the menu is set each day following the seasons and raw material.

In a separate building in the courtyard we have a sauna with adjacent facilities and an assembly room for up to 20 people that can also be booked for private functions.

Gustav Wasa is primarily an evening restaurang, but during december we are also open during lunch, when we serve a six course christmas tasting menu.

We are also open for lunch for pre-booked groups.
